The Planning Process

I absolutely adored working with Allie and Brian on their Arrabelle at Vail Square wedding weekend. We helped them plan everything from their intimate rehearsal dinner all the way through their wedding and farewell brunch on Sunday. I loved that Allie trusted me with the process 110%!

Both her and Brian were working so much and they were worried they wouldn’t have time for planning. She did tell me early on that she would be relying on my expertise a lot throughout the process. Once we got to the design deck, Allie and Brian made a few tiny corrections and once it was approved, they had me run with it! They wanted their wedding to be eclectic, full of color, elevated and above all else, they wanted their guests to have a great time!

A Personalized Wedding Aesthetic

I always tell clients that one of my jobs is to inject their personalities into the design. I want the wedding weekend to reflect their personalities and love story!

Well, one of my favorite memories from this day was Allie and Brian calling me over to their table when they were eating. Allie hugged me and said, “Erika, you were absolutely right! People are coming up to us saying this is so us! Everything is so beautiful and truly everything we wanted!” Music to my ears!

Some of my favorite design elements from this day are of course the colorful flowers, the invitations and the seating chart. It’s always so fun to have guests interact with it. We’ve done champagne walls in the past but this time we went for a strawberry margarita drink (the bride’s fave) wall with acrylic lime slices as the table indicators. Guests had so much fun interacting with the drink wall and of course no lime slice was left behind as both the lime slices and glasses served as favors for guests to take home.

I have to agree with Allie, everything from this day was so beautiful and I am so glad they loved every minute of it!
